Have I found The One?!?!

Maybe?! So I don't usually watch the show The Bachelorette, but I am going to have to start because I think my soul mate is mistakingly on that show. Michael G is his name. Not only is he very handsome, but also a T1D!

At 6'2, a lawyer, from Long Island and handsome (I mentioned that right?) I think it's clear we are a perfect match.

It is one thing to have things in common, but finding someone who can really relate to the ups and downs of T1D is a plus. From my own dating experience, it can be a little uncomfortable trying to find the "right time" to mention having T1D, not that there is anything to hide or be ashamed of, but you don't exactly want to start out as "Hi my name is Kim and I have type one diabetes." Most likely the other person will have no idea what is involved unless they have to deal with it themselves. It's all about timing and discussing it in a way that isn't overwhelming and make it appear as if it doesn't phase you (although it very well may).

With Michael G, I would not have to worry about that! Oh I can picture having dates where we would count each others carbs, help each other through the highs and lows and laugh at all of the other ignorant people.

Based on his abc profile, he described his ideal mate as "thin, athletic build and a beautiful smile" ... Sounds familiar right?? .....

His ideal mate's personality is "witty, down to earth, honest, loving, considerate, intelligent, mature but fun."

Again....

Fun...

At 33 he is slightly older than me, but who cares... Ill be 21 soon. I have been told my maturity takes precedent. We both like to be active so we would definitely compliment each other.

Maybe my blog will go viral and he will realize he did not need to go on national tv and that his mate is only a few towns away from him.
